There are many excellent places to eat out within a short drive from the site, to suit all tastes and budgets.

Closest, within 5 minutes drive is the Salen Hotel, popular with locals and visitors alike.

Another 5 minutes on, in Acharacle, is the Post Office Tearoom (open in the daytime), Ardshealach Lodge and the Loch Shiel Hotel.

There is also a Take Away in Acharacle.

At Strontian, 15 minutes drive away, there is the Ben View Hotel, Kilcamb Lodge Hotel, The Village Bistro (serving an excellent all day breakfast). Also at Strontian is The Cozy Knits Tearoom and the popular Strontian Hotel.

Further afield, on the way to Mallaig is the Glenuig Inn and a few miles further on is the Lochailort Inn

Of course Fort William has a wide range of choices for eating out and as well as the traditional includes Chinese and Indian restaurants. Worth a special mention is the Crannog Seafood Restaurant opened in 1989 on Fort William Town Pier which offers locally sourced seafood.
